Day Fifty-Six

Walker took a 2-1/2 hour nap this afternoon which allowed me to work on my prices and portrait packages for my photography business.  Grandma Barb stopped by to pick up some items she had kept in our garage from the yard sale a couple of months ago.  Unfortunately, Walker was still sleeping so she didn’t get a chance to play with him.  When he awoke from his nap, he was starving!  He chowed down a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, leaving the crust of the bread on his plate.

We went to dinner at Yolanda’s Mexican Restaurant with Bob and Sally, then went back to their house for a glass of wine.  Walker had fun playing with Duke and Darby and had pillow fights with Bob and Sally.  We had a great time as always.

Dave came home later in the evening.  Walker couldn’t wait.  He had his blanket and his Pooh bear on the couch waiting for Daddy to arrive.  He wouldn’t even let me sit by him…he was holding the spot for Daddy.  Dave called just as he was coming down the street, so Walker and I went outside to meet him.  Walker was so excited to see his Daddy pull up in the RV!  We let Walker stay up until 9:30 p.m. so he could spend some time with Daddy.
