Day Seventy

Today was Dave’s change of command in San Pedro.  Walker, Savannah, Nana and Grandma Pam all headed down in one car together while Dave took Kelly, Papa Bullard and Papa Walt.  I had forgotten how much fun L.A. traffic is at 8:00 in the morning on a Friday!

The ceremony was nice and the gentleman Dave was relieving was also retiring, so the ceremony was combined with the change of command.  Walker was pretty well behaved as long as he stayed away from Papa Walt during the ceremony.  Papa Walt tends to rile him up.

Afterwards, we went to a chinese buffet in Torrance, then headed back home in traffic again.  Nana made homemade chicken enchiladas for dinner and as usual a food spread fit for a king.  I’ll be working on my diet again after all this eating!
