Walker awoke in the middle of the night again. I brought him into bed with us and he pretty much kicked Dave out of the bed! It was a restless night for all of us. In the morning, Walker still had a temperature of 99.7, so Dave stayed home with him while I went in to work.
Later in the morning, Walker began feeling better so he and Dave got out of the house and window shopped. I met up with them for lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack where I shared my salad and clam chowder soup with Walker. He was getting tired again. It was time for them to get home and put Walker down for a nap.
I headed over to the Ventura County Fairgrounds where I submitted my eight (8) photographs for the Fair Photography contest, three (3) scrapbook pages and Walker’s heart-shaped craft he made for me for Valentine’s Day. It was an easy process and I was able to get through the three separate submissions in about 30 minutes.
Walker was sleeping when I came home from the Fairgrounds but unfortunately, that didn’t last long. He only took about a one hour nap and tonight, he’s been really moody and crabby. Part of it is his cold, the other is that he is tired. Time to go rock him and put him to bed. Let’s hope tonight he gets a solid night’s rest!
