Day One Hundred Seventy Seven

We headed home from Laughlin today.  It took us quite a bit longer to get home than it did to get to Laughlin since we were traveling during the day with much more traffic to contend with.  As we headed down Goffs Road, I noticed a freight train coming towards us.  It would make a great photo of the day.  I pulled over, grabbed my camera and headed towards the train tracks.  Sally followed behind me as we took several shots of the frieght train approaching.  We got really lucky with the timing of this train.  With all the huge freight trains that constantly run along Goffs Road, this was the only train we were able capture in time.

We stopped for lunch at Chipotle’s in Barstow around 12:45 p.m. before hitting the road again.  We made it home around 4:30 p.m.  I was so excited to see Dave, Savannah and Walker when I got home.  I unpacked my bag and the extra groceries we had left over, then spent the rest of the evening relaxing.  I figured I would download my cameras and work on my blogs tomorrow in order to spend time with the family.  I was glad I did.
