Day One Hundred Ninety

Dave arranged to have our carpets cleaned today which was such a blessing since we are having company for Walker’s birthday next Saturday.

Since the carpet was going to take a while to dry, we headed to Buellton to Mosby Winery to pick up our wine shipment.  It was harvest time in the vineyards.  It was awesome to see all the grapes growing particularly since a lot of the vineyards lost about 30% of their crops in a cold snap not too long ago.

We then went in to Solvang and walked around town window shopping.  We didn’t end up buying anything, but we had a great time looking.  Walker especially liked the toy stores!

On the way home, we stopped in Isla Vista at a small pizza and pasta restaurant right near the UCSB campus.  The food was really good and we were able to catch part of the World Series game while we were there.  The rest of the evening was fairly quiet, relaxing in the hot tub with Savannah then off to bed with Walker.
