Day Three Hundred Eighteen

The rain came pouring down just after 9:00 a.m. this morning, but it only lasted about 30 minutes before it was gone.  The Grapevine and other areas north of us saw hail and snow with the snow level dropping to 2,000 feet.  Too bad we weren’t at the cabin playing in the snow!  The rest of the afternoon was cold and windy.

Dave made spaghetti and sausage for dinner tonight while we watched the Daytona 500.  I caught Walker trying to steal the tomatoes out of the salad bowl before we sat down for dinner.  Silly boy!

Pam called this evening; Sherry had arrived in Arizona with Lyla Blu to keep her company.  Sherry is going to spend about a week with Pam before heading up north with a new traveling group she found.  It sounds like retirement was a good choice for her.  I can’t wait to see them all again soon!
