This will be a short post today as I have spent the entire day in court. While I can’t go into details of the jury trial I am serving on, I can say that unfortunately, I have to be back in court at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. Lucky for me I get to work double time to meet my deadlines at work. I will be heading into work early tomorrow morning, dropping Walker off at Lori’s just after 6:00 a.m. and arriving at work by about 6:30 a.m. I need to be in court at 9:00 a.m. so that will give me a good two hours to work on the project that’s due Thursday. If need be, Dave has already offered to pick Walker up from Lori’s house in the evening so I can head back in to work after court. Aren’t I excited! (No, not really).
I took my smaller Canon camera to court with me today so I could capture a photograph of the courthouse. I found this interesting tree while walking the property. It was on the left front of the Government Center by the cafeteria. One of my fellow jurors stopped with me so I could take the photograph while we attempted to figure out what type of tree this was. We came up with nothing. I showed Bob the photograph when I got home from court and he also did not know the type of tree this was. Whatever it was, it was pretty neat!
