Yes! I have made it an entire year on my blog (plus the additional day for Leap Year this year). I’m pretty proud of myself. It has definately been a challenge, yet it has been well worth it. I have gone back over some of the photographs and blogs for the past year and it is amazing to see how things have changed in our family, particularly how much Walker has grown. It’s both exciting and sad to see my yearly blog come to an end. I hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as I have. But don’t worry, this isn’t going to be the end. Although I may not shoot one photograph and blog every day, I will continue with a blog keeping family and friends up-to-date on what’s going on with the Bullards!
Today I made arrangements to view the twin bed frame for Walker in Santa Barbara. We had a wine shipment waiting for us at Mosby so we made it a day out. The wind finally stopped blowing and it was a beautiful day. We stopped for lunch in Buellton, then headed to the winery. I took some photographs of Lyla Blu for Grandma Sherry as well as some photographs around the vineyard.
Afterwards, we headed into Santa Barbara to check out the new bed frame. It was perfect! The gal I bought it from was extremely nice and took $10 off the price she was asking. So we ended up with a great, sturdy, wood bed frame for $50.00. Much less than what we had been looking at new. The fun part was, the gal that I met with, Elena, her daughter was expecting her first baby. Elena had seen my website and was interested in maternity and newborn photographs for her daughter. I was so excited. I can’t wait to work with them and photograph the beginning of a new life for a baby girl!
On the way home from Santa Barbara, we stopped near Faria Beach. Walker had been bugging us about going to the beach all day. Besides, we all needed a break…including the dogs. We spent about an hour on the beach before heading home. It was a great way to spend our Sunday and the last day of my year-long blog! I’ve included a few photographs for my 366th day as I went a little camera-crazy today. Enjoy!
