It was another busy day in the office today while David prepares for Trial on a case next week. Yet, it was quite since David was working from home today!
I received a text message from Katelen this afternoon. She has decided to take a position as a boatswain’s mate in the Navy. She is heading back down to MEPS on Thursday to sign the paperwork for enlistment. If everything goes as planned, she will be sent off to boot camp on July 10th and spend the next four years with the U.S. Navy. Everyone in the office is so proud of her (though we are sad to loose her here in the office!).
Dave called just before we pulled into the garage yesterday. While I was talking on the phone with him, Bob came around the corner to grab Walker. His playmate was now home. Walker took off to Bob and Sally’s while I took everything inside and let Charlie out of his crate. He bolted next door as soon as I went to take the trash cans out to the curb. I know, what a surprise, eh? Once I made it next door, I found Walker tucked into the recliner in Bob’s sacred Man Cave watching TV. Bob actually takes the time to record shows just for Walker! I found this quote that perfectly describes Walker when he is planted in front of any Scooby-Doo series…. “Television has changed a child from an irresistible force to an immovable object.” ~Author Unknown. Yeah, that pretty much says it all!
